Sometimes it is helpful to setup a MaxDiff as a Ranking question in order to perform more 'exotic' analyses (as described in the MaxDiff section on the Displayr wiki). To perform more typical MaxDiff analysis in Q, please see Marketing - MaxDiff - Hierarchical Bayes for Data Setup information for our standard MaxDiff analysis.
There are two ways to get a MaxDiff question set up as a ranking:
- You can do this automatically using Create > Marketing > Analyze with Ranking Question (Legacy) > MaxDiff Ranking Question from Design and Choice Data. If you are doing this, make sure you first read the section on about Setting up the data.
- You can 'hand code' the setup, as described on the Displayr wiki.
