How To Re-Use A Code Frame When Coding Text Data

From Q
Jump to navigation Jump to search

There are a variety of different ways of re-using code frames when categorizing text data:

  • If you have an existing code frame, created in another program, you can paste it into Q (see Import/Export Category Names).
  • If you have an existing code frame, created in Q, you can export and import into Q. This will cause some of the coding to be done automatically, if the new data contains similar text responses to the old one (see Sharing coding across projects).
  • You can have a code frame within a project that is shared across multiple questions (see Reusing a code frame).
