Export to Excel (fast)

Export to Excel (fast) is a way of exporting tables. This option is available in the Table Options dialog when exporting. To choose this option, click File > Export > To Office > Excel... and then select To Excel (fast) from the Format dropdown.

This will generate an Excel .xlsx file containing the selected tables.

Benefits

  • Much faster than the normal Export to Excel way of exporting.

Downsides

  • Cannot update the exported tables later with new data; this way of exporting always exports to a new Excel .xlsx file.
